We're excited to open appications to vendors for Starry Night Festival on OCTOBER 12th, 2024! We are seeking 25-35 vendors to be a part of the festival and sell their wares. We aim to have a variety of unique and interesting goods priced appropriately for a demographic within proximity to campus. In addition, we try to make the festival as interactive as possible. So, if there is a way for you to create, design, or teach during the festival, this would be an excellent addition.

Please include photo examples of your merchandise and/or a link to your website or social media platforms.

Vendor applications will be accepted May 1 through Aug 1 and vendor acceptance determinations will be made by Aug 15. If selected to participate, your booth fee will be due by Aug 30. The single booth (10' by 10' tent, two tables, two chairs, and three spot lights) cost is $130. The double booth cost is $275. A food truck is categorized as a double booth. Vendors who can provide their own WHITE, 10' X 10' tent, will receive a $30 voucher toward the booth fee. ($60 voucher if two tents are provided for a double booth) Electricity will be available to vendors, but internet access will not be.

It is expected that all vendors will arrive between 5pm and 6pm the evening of the festival. Starry begins at 7pm. We ask that vendors do not begin packing up before 11:30pm. Vendors are responsible for providing their own lock box and change as needed.

The $17.50 application fee is non-refundable.

All vendors are responsible for ensuring their business is registered with the IRS. By state and federal law, you must collect sales tax for the items you're selling. When filing your taxes, you will have to pay income tax on all the items you sold and pay the sales tax to Indiana. We recommend contacting the Indiana Department of Revenue (www.in.gov/dor) and the IRS (www.irs.gov) for more info.

Food Vendors are responsible for maintaining proper documentation with the Health Department. Those without permits will not be allowed to participate in the festival.
